 Momo America – A Documentary Film by Deepika Shrestha Ross

The young designers that we work with come from a wide variety of diverse backgrounds and many of them have emigrated from abroad or have immigrants in their immediate family.  The documentary short film Momo America was created by architect and filmmaker Deepika Shrestha Ross and does an incredible job of providing an insider’s view into the Nepali American immigrant experience. Because of her architecture background the filmmaker created a special introduction to her film in collaborating with ArchForKids highlighting the relationship between architecture and film, which you can see below.
